French film “The Artist” has swept international awards worldwide turning it into a serious contender at today’s Oscar’s including for French Star Jean Dujardin. Bookmakers predict he will beat George Clooney and other contenders for the category for “Best actor in a Male Performance”.
If to date only 2 previous French Female stars Simone Signoret for “Room at the Top” and Marillon Cotillard for “La Vie En Rose” have won the prestigious award in the past, no male French actor has ever won the Best Actor award. Dujardin may indeed make history tonight as France holds it’s breath …
