Newstands are everywhere in Tehran, near metro stations, in parks, sidewalks and everywhere. It is a habit to stop by newstands and browse the front page news and newspapers that are on the ground. The more important the news the more gatherings.
I hope the above image comes up ledgible but Ettelaat is one of Iran’s major newspapers and Farhadi is on the front page big picture and all! There are also more inside on page 3 with another picture, congratulations including that of former President Khatami and what he had said in his speech.
Notice that Leila Hatami is taller than the rest in the picture! This is great and couldn’t have come at a more better time right before Norooz and the new year celebrations!
