Reading so many complaints about the movie Separation being depressing, I wanted to blog in its defense and “antellectualize.”
Then I thought why not let a master artist explain it himself. Above is Elton John singing, “Sad Songs Say So Much.” Lyrics are in the video. My favorite passage is, “If someone else is suffering enough to write it down. When every single word makes sense.”
