Today would have been my dad Charles Schroeder’s 101st birthday, RIP, or as he would have preferred, “live in peace.” He passed away peacefully last November. I happened to be in Isfahan at the time, which was a privilege that I had been looking forward to for many years, and hope to return to Iran soon. I want to say a special “thank you” here to Jahanshah Javid who made space for our photos and essays here at the Iranian, and to everyone who has been supportive through the years.
