“The Temple of Light” is how the architect, Mr. Siamak Hariri, describes the vision of the Temple’s luminous effect of inner light and translucent alabaster in the nighttime landscape. The last of the continental Baha’i Houses of Worship, the Baha’i Temple in Santiago, Chile, makes progress towards it completion after many years of planning.
“Falling backward” – into progress is how Mr. Hariri has described the process experienced by his team. “We were traversing uncharted waters. We sometimes did not know how problems would be solved, but we are just so confident that they will be,” he said during a presentation to the Baha’is of the United States.
