This artwork seems to belong to either later Qajar period or early Pahlavi period. These illustrations were not originally part the Persian visual arts. Such scenes were obviously adopted from Indian Kama Sutra illustrations as Iranian became familiar with these forms when they had more direct cultural interactions with Mughal Empire.
