Team Melli defeated Thailand 7-1 in Kish Island in southern Iran in Persian Gulf.
Iran captain Abdorreza Karimizadeh scored five goals and Mehdi Torabi was on target two times.
Earlier in the day, Australia defeated South Korea 11-0.
Iran will face Jordan on Sunday.
2018 IFCPF Asia-Oceania Championships is an important event for the participants since the top two teams will advance directly to the 2019 IFCPF World Cup – Pinto Madrid, Spain.
