Behzad Golpayegani Painter and Graphic designer was born in 1938 Tehran/Iran [ watch video]. He started his Painting studies in Tehran high school of Fine Arts in 1957. He continued his studies in Faculty of decorative arts in Paris. As a graphic designer he had been cooperating with Azad University (before Islamic Azad university), Franklin Publications, Peyk Publications, National Library of Iran and… He experienced varied styles on his artworks which the most outstanding ones are concentrated in Persian “Naskh” Letters which by 70’s was a starting point of forming the “Modern Persian Typography”. By that time he broke the old clichés of Typed Naskh on Graphic designs he created, and achieved a stylish and unique designs and compositions which still are being followed by many contemporary artists >>> 12 next › last »
