For many years, some Iranians in diaspora have awaited an “Iranian Got Talent” or “Iranian Idol” contest and show, but the resources needed were formidable and the business justifications not easy. Also, support by popular Persian artists was not strong.
NOW, for the first time, “An expense-paid trip to London to be mentored by legendary Iranian Diva Googoosh, be part of a reality TV talent contest show, and a chance to win $10000″ is possible if you have a good voice and an interest in singing.
Thanks to a new Persian entertainment and reality TV Manoto TV (Manoto in Persian means You & I), and Googoosh’s desire to assist the next generation of emerging vocal talents, for the first time a major Persian (singing) talent contest and show is possible now. The “Googoosh Music Academy” is now accepting applicants, but the deadline is approaching fast in August. You can see details and the Farsi translation in this link:
