The recent turn of events in Iran which includes the ratcheting up of physical as well as verbal attacks on rival Islamist groups within IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic’s power circles makes it abundantly clear things are heading from bad to worst and possibility of a night of the long knife, a la Nazis, cannot be discounted.
As the out of power Islamists formerly known as “reformist” vie for the leadership of the multipolar “Green Movement” increasing number of their activists who for the first time have had a taste of what IRR justice system is all about have begun to write semi-confessionals and half-apologias.
They condemn some of the crimes committed against Iran and Iranians by the Islamist regime which they have been an integral part of and apologize for their silence while those atrocities were taking place. The quantifiers, half and semi, are due to their insistence on being steadfast in loyalty to the man who was the cause of it all, the mass murderer Khomeini, aka, “Imam” and not coming clean about all that which was done.
If Pastor Martin Niemöller was one of these Islamist chaps who are facing what Niemöller faced with the Nazis, he might have altered his famous poem thusly:
“THEY CAME FIRST for the MKO,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Mujahed Khalgh.
THEN THEY CAME for the Nationalists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Nationalist.
THEN THEY CAME for the Baha’is and Jews,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Baha’i or a Jew
THEN THEY CAME for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up.”
Fortunately there are many conscientious Iranians as well as others who do speak up and condemn what IRR is doing to all including some of its own. History of the 2oth century and the vile behavior of Nazi’s rabid twins the Islamists have taught all a thing or two about the price of staying silent.
IRR, let Iranians including the out of power and yet unrepentant followers of the mass murderer Khomeini go, the world is watching your every crime there will be a day of reckoning!
