In an interview Senator John McCain a centrist Republican who when it comes to defending the dignity of human beings never hesitates to go against anyone or political party has put his finger on a very important point about threatening IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic.
He said:
“We keep threatening sanctions. We keep, for well over a year now — in fact, including the previous administration — we keep threatening. And obviously, we have not done anything that would in any way be viewed effective. … We have to be willing to pull the trigger on significant sanctions. And then we have to make plans for whatever contingencies follow if those sanctions are not effective.”
He also said:
“stand up for the human rights of the people of Iran. Put the pictures of those people who were brutalizing and killing and torturing the demonstrators and the people who are standing up for their God-given rights. Make them famous. We did that in certain respects during the Cold War.”
As a war hero and prisoner of war the Senator is keenly aware of the tragedy of war and why all needs to be done to avoid it.
For the past thirty years especially under the past three U.S. Administrations, a reactive policy of winging it has been the guiding light of American foreign policy towards IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic.
It is time for DC, the Democracy Central to go back to what she does best, promoting Democracy and defending the huddled masses yearning to breathe free. Iranians are yearning, America, pull the trigger on Iran.
