In many ways Morocco reminds me of Iran. A country which is blessed with beautiful mountains, beautiful deserts and plenty of coastal lines. A non-Arab native population (Berber) which was converted to Islam and heavily Arabized by the armies of Islam. to this day, although more than 60% of the population is Berber, Arabic is the official language. I found Moroccans to be extremely tolerant and friendly. I traveled from Marrakesh to Merzouga on the edge of Sahara desert. in my way there i saw beautiful Kasbahs, farms and Berber villages. 12 next › last »
