On several occasions over the years I came frighteningly close to asking this babe, a best friend of ten years, to tie the knot, but when the pedal hit the metal I couldn’t quite get the courage because something just didn’t quite fit. Alas, we are but distant friends now who wave from afar. She wouldn’t be mad that I posted this. In fact, I think it would cause a sweet smile 🙂
