Cyrus Bassiak aka Serge Rezvani is an Iranian painter, poet, writer and musician who first gained fame for signing some of the most emblematic music scores of France’s Nouvelle Vague Cinema. One of them being for Francois Truffaut’s film Jules & Jim (1962). Le Tourbillon de La Vie sung by Jeanne Moreau. Rezvani plays a cameo in this scene as the guitarist who plays while Moreau sings the song.

Another Music Score Ma Ligne de Chance written by Rezvani was for Jean Luc Godard’s Pierrot Le Fou, starring the yet unknown Jean Paul Belmondo and Anna Karina.
