First of all, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Persian New Year. Secondly I would like to report that this year's 13-bedar celebration at Vasona Park in Los Gatos, near San Francisco in Northern California, was bigger and more exciting than last year's gathering which was also very enjoyable. Even though the clouds probably scared a good amount of people away, still there was a strong presence and people showed their support and enthusiasm to keep our heritage alive. A few sprinkles of rain was worth all the fun. The Norouz Festival committee did a great job at organizing this event and a great addition this year was the Youth Pavilion which catered to tomorrow's generation of Iranians.
