William C. Rogers III is a war criminal responsible for shooting down an Iranian airliner in 1988, killing all its 290 civilian passengers (including 66 children). Instead of being tried for this atrocious crime, he was awared the prestigeous Legion of merit by President George H. Bush “for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service as commanding officer … from April 1987 to May 1989”. Why isn’t the Iranian-American diaspora actively demanding that he sees his day in court?
