Anti-gay activist Joshua Phelps-Roper of the Westboro Baptist
Church of Topeka, Kansas, protests outside the building where Rev.
Gene Robinson was about to be consecrated as Bishop Coadjutor of
the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire on the campus of the University
of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. The openly gay Rev.
Robinson went ahead with his consecration as bishop despite warnings
