Photo essay: A comedy with no story
By Arash Radpour

The Iranian
I want to introduce you to an amazing comedy, played
last month in the "Vascello" theatre here in Rome, by
a wonderful group of actors that called "Entrate" (Entries).
The main actor is a very talented young Iranian-Italian
actor becoming quite famous here in Rome, Hossein Taheri, while
the director is a very good friend of mine, Pierpaolo Sepe. He is
young and talented as well. He did a great job.
There is no story . Actors come and go from the center
of the stage and every two-three minutes they change roles and characters,
like some kind of soft plastic material.
You can find in the 90 minutes of the show every kind
of people: priests, soldiers, crazy book-sellers, Black refugees,
cannibals...
