Before spring

During the last decade I have focused on women's issues to create compassionate
visual poetry in my art work. This anonymous poem reflects my aesthetic and
the courage and creative spirit of women through history:
I am the woman who holds up the sky.
.....................................The
rainbow runs through my eyes.
The sun makes a path to my womb.
My thoughts are in the shapes of clouds,
.....................................but
my words are yet to come...
