Beyond the fog
Ali Ohadi

How mysterious is the fog
even though I know
there is nothing on the other side except:
a drunk, shouting at the night
the pains of the day
and a dog
which on a listless evening stroll
pisses on the side of
a passenger-less bus stop
and a tenant-less lit window
and a cyclist who repeats his day
with a single long yawn.
