Khar Nameh
Memoirs of a donkey

June 14, 2001
The Iranian

"Khar Naameh" was originally published in France by Countesse de Ségure (late 19th century. Title?). It's believed Amir Hassan Khan Etemadol Saltaneh's translation includes additional commentary from the point of view of a donkey living under the reign of Naserdin Shah Qajar (1848 - 1896).

The current translation, edited by Ali Dehbashi, has been published in Tehran by Ketab Panjereh (2001).
