Keyvan Fotoohi was born in Abadan, Iran. He started
wrting short stories shortly after he when he immigrated to Canada
in the late 1980s. A number of his short stories have been published
in Iranian journals in the U.S., Canada as well as Iran. Keyvan
holds a
Ph.D in
soil rock mechanics from McGill University, Canada. He now lives
in Los Angeles and "Tak Nafar" is
his first collection of short stories. Thanks to Elham Gheytanchi
