* US - Iran Relations: recognizing Albright, New York
During her March 17, 2000 speech to the American Iranian Council, former
Secretary of State Madeleine Albright called for the United States and Iran
to seize the historic opportunity presented by the February parliamentary
elections in Iran.
In the aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks, another historic
opportunity has now presented itself. On December 17th in New York, Secretary
Albright will discuss the changing world situation and offer her views on
how US-Iran relations have developed since her March 2000 speech >>>
