A plant near Arak, Iran that the U.S. suspects of being weapons capable, is one of
two facilities scheduled to be inspected by U.N. nuclear watchdog Mohamed ElBaradei
February 21, 2003. ElBaradei was also scheduled to visit a site in Natanz and then
meet with President Mohammad Khatami. Iran has repeatedly asserted that its nuclear
program is solely intended to serve the nation's energy needs. The Arak facility
