The Body of Reza Shah The
Great, The Monarch who welfed ancient Persia into modern Iran,
was taken
to tehran
from Cairo May 7, 1943,
and buried with elaborate ceremony in the Iranian capital [Caption/News].
More than 200.000 attended the rites. Reza Shah died in Johannesburg,
South Africa, in 1943 after being forced from his throne as Pro-German
British and Soviet Military Forces. The Present Shah, dressed
in civilian clothes with Ceremonial Sash, follows his Father's
coffin during the mourning
