I lost my grandmother, Sadighe Dowlatshahi, on October 31st at age of 92. She was one of the first Iranian women pilots [See: (1) (2)]. Our grandmother had a great life and fulfilled every dream she had. From being able to play the tar, to becoming a pilot, and to have a chance to travel all over the world.... For this she was thankful and asked us to celebrate her life rather than mourn her departure... These are some pictures of the day we celebrated her life.
