You'll walk off the plane into Mehrabad airport, where you'll see men and women holding hands, everyone patiently standing in lines, waiting for their luggage. Then a quick stop at customs, where the agent courteously accepts your word and welcomes you to the country. Then, out in the streets, people all seem happy and content, all dressed as they pleased, taxis give each other the right of way, and you can't wait to see the rest of it.... A co-worker in the office nudges your arm..."Hay, wake up. You dozed off again, did't you?..."
