The shaking of the wind

April 18, 2006

I've fought my way from a place
I cannot name.
The shaking of the wind
no longer scares me.

the swiftness of it all
the ever lasting moments
the wonder of all the beauty
the disbelief of all the pain

My questions no longer want answers
and so-
somehow they've multiplied,
becoming their own doubt and certainty.

Finding completion
in the magic
the craziness
the elegance
the tender, brutal movements
the finality
the eternity of it all.

I've fought my way from a place
I cannot name.
And the shaking of the wind
no longer scares me.

It streams through my hair
my eyes
my lips
it brings life to my door
and my soul livens up.

The shaking of the wind no longer scares me.
It brings beat to my heart.
It adds eternity to my moment.
It lets me know that I breathe,
and so does the universe.
