Cover story  Write for The Iranian Ava Sarjouie Serjoie was born in 1975 in Iran. She recieved her BA in fine arts and is currently studying for her masters at Alzahra University while working as an artistic and cultural consultant for the Winsor and Newton's representatives in Iran. Her first solo exhibit was held in 1999 at the Niavaran Art Center. Sarjouie also edits and translates art books and has worked with the UNESCO Asian Women Artists conference at Tehran.
