July 21, 2004Top * Googoosh responsible for YOUR wrong decisions? your article about googooosh was so baseless and sloppy i wonder how you could send it to a forum to be seen by others [Iranian diva]. you make it sound like that googoosh always chose to be a role model for people which is wrong. can a 3 year-old tell her father not to use her in his advantage? if you want to attack a woman for not getting a divorce you should study the culture of her society first. how dare you to dictate a woman to marry or divorce? isnt there a small possibility that she loved her husband or for the sake of her son she went along with him? have you ever been a diva or a superstar? do you know what kinds of problems a star has in a third world country like iran? look at all the manipulations and pains she might have gone through behind the scenes. look at the way of thinking of iranian americans who live in the united states. look at their behavior towards googoosh. everyone wants to use her in his advantage. for me who live in iran all the members of the so-called opposition are the same. ABUSIVE. and people like you who do not show their political proclivities are no better. you know what? the
problem is ours not googoosh's. this is in iranian blood who look for
heros or heroines all the time. and they think if
someone is famous she or he should do something in their benefit. be
a symbol for persecution of women. or become a freedom fighter and change
regimes. iranians never change. we are a biased nation who always act
on pre-concieved notions and whoever is in our way should be banned.
like you did and stopped listening to googoosh. not only that, but also you
annoyed your son and condemned him for doing something he really likes. i have two advices for you. first, next time you pick up a cd to listen to, try to focus on music, lyrics and voice not about the singers private life or marital affairs. this is called intrusion in others' privacy. secondly, it is now a little bit out of fashion to show you are bright-minded by attacking googoosh. i know how you feel. you think if you are opposed to the masses who have a shared interest, you may turn out to be something special. and who is the best possible victim? googoosh by the way, stop badgering your son. he loves googoosh like me. |
