AP: A second-string Iran team defeated the United Arab Emirates 3-0 on Wednesday to send the Gulf nation out of the Asian Cup in a match both teams finished with 10 men. Iran was already sure of advancing to the quarterfinals and became the only team to finish the group stage with three wins from three games and topped Group D ahead of Iraq, which beat North Korea 1-0. “I’m happy to go to second stage with a perfect record and to be the only team with nine points. Having said that, all teams start fresh and it’s like a new tournament,” Iran coach Afshin Ghotbi said.

Good DM, I did not watch the game
by Anahid Hojjati on Sat Jan 22, 2011 01:03 PM PSTYes, as you wrote in your comment, I think since it was clear that they were better than us, you could not get too upset about it.
AH
by Doctor mohandes on Sat Jan 22, 2011 12:38 PM PSTOn the contrary, I stayed cool during the whole show and just tried to enjoy a good football. I remember getting vividly depressed and sad in all the previous ones. I mean come on, It was obvious we had no chances with the way they were literally walking all over us!!
Sign of aging i guess!!
DM, game was finished a while ago

My god. Did this team shut down or shut off rather or what??? I must admit that The best team indeed claim the well-deserved victory. We missed so many chances and it was not funny at all.
But... No worries.. The World cup Priliminaries are coming up soon!!
I blame this on On SP oh and Faramarz , who else!!!
I am not made to watch such football,
by Bavafa on Sat Jan 22, 2011 10:21 AM PSTalready lost 10lb just in the first half but looks like we are doing better in the second. It is over time and I hope some thing positive (in our favor) happens in OV. I am keeping my fingers cross

by Doctor mohandes on Thu Jan 20, 2011 07:26 PM PSTWe've got it cooking there:))
That is right.:))) Pots and pans and everything.
Doctor Mohandess: I am not cooking the food now
by Anahid Hojjati on Thu Jan 20, 2011 07:20 PM PSTIt is just one dish and the game is on Saturday so I have time. I am still thinking about the riddle and what it means, now you just changed it a bit, like the chef is now in the bedroom. I think this one is better, what the chef is cooking in the bedroom???
Ohh baby

by Faramarz on Thu Jan 20, 2011 03:23 PM PSTYou got the long answer from Merlin! Here is the short answer.
A chef in the living room is someone who doesn’t know how to cook, but she knows how to order it for delivery, something like, “The only thing that she knows how to make for dinner is reservation!”
A whore in the kitchen is something that Nimcheh Doctor Mohandes needs to figure out and then write about it here!
dear all god-fearing, free-thinking, self-valuing Iranians,
by merlin on Thu Jan 20, 2011 03:18 PM PSThere's something markedly different than the anti-Iranian, anti-patriarchal, corrupting, perverting, valueless and so on messages that usually appear in this domain that is run by enemies of its audience, in opposition of its audience wittingly or otherwise. have you ever wondered why, with supposedly almost a million members in this powerful nation, the Iranian community lacks even an iota of political power or influence? further, why are Iran's enemies so powerful in contrast that they seemingly direct the minds, values and behavior of Iranians here and abroad in opposing and destroying almost everything that is inherently and naturally desirable: self-determination, rule of Iran by Iranians, pride, dignity, freedom, our traditional cultures and values that are unrivaled in beauty and power? some of your neighbors literally cheer in your face and pat themselves on the back for the boasted murders of your tribes' scientists and educators. are your people too primitive or base to pursue knowledge and application of nuclear technology? no, clearly, what this tyranny fears is the start of an even playing field. their leashed media boasts daily about bombing and killing entire families waking up for school, work and general service of their communities. this is absolute terrorism. they dont want peace on even terms they want absolute control and power over every aspect of your existence. while they have countless ICBM packed with nuclear warheads, a fine gift from american taxpayers, they propogate propaganda and more destructive attacks against iran for setting up a centrifuge. they fear justice. these are complex issues but realizing that the national community has absolutely no authentic counsel is a good start. The PAAIA is financed by enemies and opponents of Iranians' natural interests. the rosenberg foundation is a good example.
OK, Faramarz, I get "Lady in the bedroom"
by Anahid Hojjati on Thu Jan 20, 2011 02:51 PM PSTBut what do "a chef in the living room and a whore in the kitchen" mean?
A Just Punishment for Dr. Mohandes
by Faramarz on Thu Jan 20, 2011 02:38 PM PSTThey say that for many men, the ideal woman is one that is “a chef in the kitchen, a lady in the living room and a whore in the bedroom!”
As a punishment for you Doctor Mohandes, I am going to introduce you to Noosheen. She is a lady in the bedroom, a chef in the living room and a whore in the kitchen!

Tight budget? heh! I know where you are coming from. I myself am this close into moving to a new "residential" community. They call it UBFRC(under the bridge facilities and recreational center). It comes with Rehab means too but i did not sign up for that one!
As far as those calling for donations, it is real simple, have them call faramarz. Yep. Just give them his # or tell them to come and bombard his blogs with requests for money:))
