by Parham on Fri Mar 04, 2011 05:56 PM PSTAnd then there are those who don't know anything about a few others, who yet open their mouths big wide and spew bull AND think they're so smart.
And I agree with mullah-kosh, it was the people who went after those at the top, not the clowns.

Which Iranians are you talking about and who is talking about dumping them in the ocean?
Are you reading [much much] more to what I am saying? Or are you just shooting in the dark here?
Beside, how can one tie them to a jaroo, lets not be so cruel and at least give them raft or some thing like an innner tube.

Nayrangi
by Demo on Fri Mar 04, 2011 05:19 PM PSTThe big "green pawn" right @ the start of this "Nayrangi" video explains it all. The 2 "Khavas' Pawns" to act as "cry babies" on a "plot" to make the crowd exhausted with their so called "rise up" against the regime! Just wondering how the legendary Ernesto "Che" Guevara would have had reacted watching these 2 "clowns" in actions!
I am the king of kings
by mullah-kosh on Fri Mar 04, 2011 04:40 PM PSTAs a king of king, let me assure you "Iamtheking" that you are just the jester of the court, playing the part of a king. These two have not challenged the regime in anyway, it was the people of Iran. Let's not throw these things out without careful consideration of what we are saying. I think many, arguably rightfully oppose these two because these two have not challenged the dictatorship that exist in Iran, but merely the little monkey puppet of that dictatorship. In actuality, they have again and again confirmed their support for the regime. I know as a jester, these subtleties may not mean much to you, but then again, in 1979, we also refused to deeply understand what Khomeini was all about, and it got us to hell and back.
Give credit where credit is due
by mullah-kosh on Fri Mar 04, 2011 04:32 PM PSTThese folks, and people like them, e.g the Ganjis of the world deserve credit for trying to correct their past mistakes, they have conscious, they feel guilty, and at a huge risk to themselves, they have put themselves in the firing line of this barbaric government. But they are no heroes. My hero is Neda and the Iranian youth who had nothing to do with the 1979 devolution, but are sacrificing themselves to free the country. In essence, people like JJ, and others who helped this regime in anyway are responsible for going back and correcting their mistakes. Watching the Iranian youth getting beaten up and raped, If I was JJ, I would have thrown myself off the balcony, or picked up the gun and start fighting IR if I had anything to do with that devolution. These people got a free ride, bringin about this dark chapter to Iran, and now many of them are in the West chillaxing, and drinking margaritas. Shame on them. Mousavi and karoubi's actions only exhonerate them to some extent, they seem almost human, almost....

by Doctor mohandes on Fri Mar 04, 2011 04:30 PM PSTWait Just a minuute there.
What about those in iran who are still Iranians yet do not fit into your definition? What are we supposed to do with them? Tie them to a jaroo and dump in the ocean?
There are other clowns
by ImtheKing on Fri Mar 04, 2011 04:29 PM PSTwho are opposed to the regime by distance, dictating people inside the country to not go to vote, or to do what they think is right for Iran. As a result, the islamic regime persists for more than 30 years.
In one year, Mousavi and Karoubi challenged the regime. People came to the streets, and we are where we are now! and that's by far not thanks to expatriates clowns sitting on their seats and pretending they know everything from everything. Ain't it?
And by the way...
by Parham on Fri Mar 04, 2011 04:07 PM PST.... who the regime is afraid of is the people, not these clowns...
Thank you Shifteh for an excellent comment/response
by Bavafa on Fri Mar 04, 2011 04:07 PM PSTDespite their past high ranking involvement in the regime, I support these folks because Iranians in Iran support them, because they have been the ones who have stood against the regime and as a result are in prison now. To not supporting them is to withdrawing our support for the Iranian people who are being oppressed by the regime.

No matter what they say
by rain bow movment on Fri Mar 04, 2011 04:03 PM PSTNo matter what they say, they are part of islamic mafia and they are colaborating with the murderous, thieves Islamic regime for 30 years.
the younger generation at least have better memory than their deceived parents.
I don't...
by Parham on Fri Mar 04, 2011 03:59 PM PST... miss them at all. In fact, I'm glad the regime is now eating its own sons and daughters. That's all they are.
Emotionalism
by Fred on Fri Mar 04, 2011 03:58 PM PSTThat is exactly the point, zeroing in on the person and not their plans & past record.
These two are lifelong Islamists who are advocating return to the “golden era of the Imam”, and abiding by the constitution of the Islamist Rapist Republic, which leaves a lot to be desired.
Emotionalism is not going to cut it anymore. They need to be set free just like the thousands of others. However, that does not mean they are off the hook for their past deeds or are given a pass for a repeat performance.
The rising price of dissent
by Shifteh Ansari on Fri Mar 04, 2011 03:47 PM PSTIt would have been so easy for Mousavi and Karroubi to pull a Mohsen Rezaei on the fraudulent elections of 2009. Keep quiet and stay at the table and eat, just like any good member of the Mafia would. It took more than mere political ambition for Mousavi and Karroubi to remain in this game.
Today, Iran's political prisoners represent a large spectrum of political views and thoughts. From unionist bus drivers and teachers, to journalists, to ex-officials, to bright-eyed and idealistic students, the prisons are bursting with Iran's best and the brightest. Mousavi, Rahnavard, Karroubi, and Karroubi are only the latest additions. Regardless of what happens next, for what happened in 2009, and on every single day since, despite all the pain and loss, Iran will be a better place in the long haul. Some of that achievement should be attributed to Mousavi and Karroubi and their wives.
All political prisoners should be set free. Every last one of them. All of them, including these four.
bot sazi?
by Jahanshah Javid on Fri Mar 04, 2011 03:42 PM PSTmaybe... but right now these "idols" are under arrest and great pressure from a regime that considers them its biggest threat.
Other "idols" abroad are busy grinding kashk.
I miss them
by Jahanshah Javid on Fri Mar 04, 2011 03:32 PM PST... even though I disagree with their views and tactics.
