AFP: Hundreds of protesters demonstrated Saturday in New York and pacifist groups took to the streets in dozens of other US and Canadian cities in a "Day of Mass Action" against a possible war with Iran. About 500 protesters gathered in Manhattan's Times Square and marched to the headquarters of the US mission to the United Nations and to the Israeli consulate. "No war, no sanctions, no intervention, no assassinations," read a banner leading the march >>>

HTG got banned a while ago. He was getting really angry and posts were showing it. I don't know for sure but suspect that is the reason. He got unblocked for a short time then must have got re-banned.
I am opposed to banning of most people including: SamSam; HTG and even JK. Banning is like amputation. You only do it when there is no other option!

That is really something to blame me for IRI! Don't you get it that the argument is not about whether to fight. It is about when and how.
By the way, running does not mean giving up, heard of "live to fight another day".

VPK asks a question
by Ahmed from Bahrain on Tue Feb 07, 2012 02:03 AM PSTand answers it himself! "Did Israel get involved in Iraq: no!" AM not sure where you get this answer which doesn't even reflect the staunch Zionist's point of view coz they are truly beligerrent these days and make no bones about taking down Iran but prefer USA to send American kids to do it for them.
Suggest you do a bit of Google on 'Israel involvement in Iraq." but here is some reading for you if you can stomach it: "//www.brussellstribunal.org/pdf/IsraelinIraq.pdf
AIPAC, Neocons, Fox, Horowitz, Pearl, Kristol, Pipes, Wolfowitz, Abrams, Straus and that bulldog Bolton who makes no bones about worshipping Israel. They are all sworn Zionists who beat the drum wars to Iraq with their favourite quote "The road to Tehran is through Baghdad"; which was going to be "cake walk" according to Pearle, no. 1 war-monger.
Peace out.

I'm angery at hypocrite theivs , on IR pay list ,clue less hot headed Iranian .with no agenda and direction to show the Iranian and other nations how they want to change this murderous regim.
do they think IR regime will suddenly disappear overnight magicly by a group of theives & collaborator like (mosavi, khatami, rafsanjani, ganji and Co and so many other crooks).
these demonstrator are consist of false nationalist ,tudehee, Iranian theives investing in Iran and supporting this regim for their own advantage and IR theives investing in the west to have a place for the IR doomsday.
first of all none of these government gives a Damn about these kind of demonstrations .
they have plan long long befor bring the IR in power ,they have agreements and they act decisively when the time is right.
I'm not in favor of war on Iran, but in favor of sanctions on IR regime in any direction.
The real outcome is the rise of people to topple this inhumane regime.
if the IR got into some deal with these pirate governments, then the people have to take the matter into their own hands.
by the way the so called nuclear scientist(basiji)they are not realy scintist, are killed by IR agent to stimulate some fool nationalist and islamist fever.

by Disenchanted on Tue Feb 07, 2012 12:39 AM PSTSiavash300, everyone who reads my statement that you quoted and your response below it can tell who is the confused between two of us! :-)
I mentioned the "violent entity in Tel Aviv" and you talk about Jews' suffering ad nauseum! To identify Jews with Netanyahu gov. and Likud party and bunch of religious nuts in west bank is CONFUSION, and its yours!
I also have issue with people who are obsessed with history be it 1400 years ago or even further 2000 years ago! He who looks in the rear mirror all the time ends up in a ditch! :-)
Reza Pahlai whom you are so fond of has explicitly declared his opposition to aggression against Iran. This post is about concern of an imminent attack by Israel on Iran so you better express concern for innocent Iranian people. People of Israel always can go back where they came from. Iranians, be it Muslims, Christians, Jews, Turk, Kurd & Balooch are in their homeland and have no other place to go!

I call myself Iranian and I have feeling for jews in Israel as our king Koroush e Kabir had for them over 2000 years ago. I am Iranian and I don't want anything happen to jews who were brutally massacred by Nazi Germany. I don't want to see another hollucast taken place by Islamic fundamentalism. I am Iranian and I admire our shah who had peacefully relationship with all our neighbores including state of Israel. I still don't understand what that moneky who calls himself Iran president had in mind when he said Israel has to be wipe off the map. Imagine those who were burned in gas chamber by Nazi Germany were your biological brothers and sisters or your relatives. How do you feel about it.?
That is Israel's right to defend her citizens. I feel for all jews who had been oppressed either in U.S or in the middle east. I hope one day we all live with state of Israel in peace and harmony. That day is not that far. In that day, our crown Reza Pahlavi takes the office. On that day, happiness will come back to our country. Our people will be happy again as they were during shah's days.

This is why they repeat the shameless accusations of Fascist IRI against it's opposition, , this time against us, shamelessly accusing the rest of us, the anti-war/anti IRI folks, of warmongering and support for foreign countries. This is why they dont dare turning up for or showing their faces even in IRI sponsored demonstrations in west. This is why they are all already on the run , residing in west.

RG Jan - Can we be bunkmates in the internment camp?
by Anonymous Observer on Mon Feb 06, 2012 09:44 PM PSTA couple of things that you will need to know about me though before we can bunk together: 1. I will have my puppy with me. She's almost house trained. So, we should be good there. 2. I read late into the night. But I will have my little reading light. Other than that, we should be good. Oh, I sometimes snore. Sorry! You think they will have a running track for us there? We can FINALLY go out for that run that we have been planning. Perhaps we can also train for the mini ironman too while we're at it. We'll have nothing else to do.
Does anyone know what color patches they wil make us wear, and what design it will be? Hmmmm... Perhaps Amir1973 can bunk with us too. that'll be extra cool!
I wonder why people who are so paranoid about being put in a camp by the fascist United States do not immediately pack and move back to the safety of the Islamic Republic of Iran? Problem solved, no? They don't have to wake up every morning, slowly open their front doors and look to see if DHS agents are waiting to put them in cattle cars headed for the camps!
I hear you folks. I have it on good authority that you are being identified by the government as we speak. In fact, I even heard some of you were even "tagged" (and unfortunately "probed") while you were asleep. Quickly folks! I'm telling you: get your plane tickets while you can. Next thing you know, the Jooooz will close all the airports in Iran. The time to move back is NOW! Save yourselves before it's too late!!!!!

Mehrdad and Disenchanted and all the anti war voices here
by Soosan Khanoom on Mon Feb 06, 2012 07:17 PM PSTThis war was planned long time ago. If you recall, I posted the Toread the entire Brookings Institute report, "Which Path to Persia?"click here.
AS it has been commented here
The future of Iran is clear
Meeting of so called Terrorist group with king of Jordan after 12 years is no surprise either. These groups have been created by Isreal to begin with.
The empty threats from Iranian officals including the VF and all those "Jang Jang ta pyroozi " slogans are also a calculated plan to start a war.
The amount of mischives is overwelming and the least one can do is to be activily involved in the anti-war movements. We should let our voices to be heard ... nevermind of all the labels and accussations and nevermind the fools on this site.
by the way mehrdad , based on the quote below
" There are over 800 prison camps in the United States, all fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards, but they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general's signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. "
And with Obama's new year surprises nothing is impossible.

What "body bags"
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Mon Feb 06, 2012 07:01 PM PSTIt is funny how much hysteria I see. If there is a war America will wipe out the IR without any significant loss. Face it people the military balance is so far off IR has no chance. American military is orders of magnitude more powerful.
The smart soldiers will surrender or run. The ones who fight will die. There is no point fighting a no win battle to save the Mollah regime. Why should anyone fight to keep the VF? Are they nuts.
If there is a war the best way to minimize damage is to not fight. No resistance means no reason for Americans to keep shooting. They come; put away the mullahs and hold elections. No matter how flawed they won't be worse than IRI.
