Banafshe & Babak Alipour
I would like to nominate Banafshe & Babak Alipour who own B&B multi-production company in DC. As you know, I'm very involved with Animal Rescue and one of my friends shared their story with me a while back. I emailed them to congratulate them on their amazing work and also introduced myself and my volunteer work with Vafa Animal Shelter .. and the rest is HISTORY! You may have read about Omid's rescue story on Vafa pages.
Banafshe & Babak are now fostering Omid in hopes to adopt him IF their pack of dogs get along with him. I am proud of them, and am grateful to them for their kind hearts and all they do to help animals in need. Check out their latest interview about Omid:

(HSUS) estimated in July 2008 that approximately three to four million
pets are killed yearly in shelters across the Republic of the United States.
In countries that are monarchys, these barbaric high kill shelters do not exist. I strongly recommend if you are an animal lover moving to a monarchy, like holland or the uk or some other country with civilized practices in place, where animal rights and human rights are observed in law.
Too Many Iranians have not yet become aware of the importance of having a good system of government, that creates progress in harmony with healthy loving, compassionate, courageous, passionate peoples values and when you have it, defending it. Monarchies across Europe don't require individuals to focus on selfishness too much as their laws are humane, both the poor are cared for by law and animals have rights too.
