Ari, you got it wrong
by i_support_khamenie on Sun May 23, 2010 10:37 AM PDTMy articles in my blogs are very clear. They show how freely I express my thoughts and opinions. I even at times suggest ways to get the IRI to change its behaviour.
Hence, despite what you may wish for, I can not be branded as a particular type of person, anti or pro IRI. Rather, I am independant.
Independant enough to say what I wish freely without fearing the comments from a few thought police members who are gunho ready to accuse and so on...
I rather choose an id ISK and get people to know I am not subject to change through the often too commonly used tactic of taarof in ic. They see my username and figure, no amount of pressure will dissuade him. So I feel free to express my thoughts.
I can't say that about most other folks.

by Ari Siletz on Sun May 23, 2010 02:57 AM PDTshould I laugh or cry? advise for Mr Javid
by i_support_khamenie on Sun May 23, 2010 02:19 AM PDTI don't know,
should I laugh that any meaningless drawing is being featured as a "work of art" and given front page coverage/?
or should I cry that it is always the same people commenting on every article, to the point that the commnetators now actually know each other, follow each other, know about one another's favorite dishes....etc
I think ic instead of being selective is trying to be all-inclusive.
The idea is that there should be a free flow of information. However, as the experiment has shown, the quality (and maybe membership) has plummeted.
Rather, ic should realize that many folks are tech savvy and can surf the web for what pleases them regarding IRAN. Therefore, it should make a point to actually feature Select- articles that are really unique.
IC should publish articles that might get featured in NYTIMES and might hence be missed by great number of iranians.
It should refrain from artciles that would not even be featured in Waterloo Hoboken Gizzette Semi-MOnthly
Great job Azadeh
by IranFirst on Sat May 22, 2010 01:29 PM PDTVery nicely done, thank you
...
by Azadeh Azad on Sat May 22, 2010 10:42 AM PDTThank you Shazde, Monda, Omid, Darius & Anahid aziz.
Monda jan: Yes, that is a poster of blood, towards which the IRI killers pray - you know, like Mecca for ordinary Muslims.
Omid jan: Wrong cartoon! This is not supposed to be that funny! One litttle grin would suffice :-)
Azadeh
Great cartoon, Azadeh jan.
by Anahid Hojjati on Sat May 22, 2010 06:05 AM PDTLoved you cartoon. Thanks.

Hah Azadeh, you rock!
by Monda on Fri May 21, 2010 10:50 PM PDTCreative and to the point. Love all the details! Can't figure out one thing though: is that a poster of blood on Nutjob's wall?
Very nice and timely
by Shazde Asdola Mirza on Fri May 21, 2010 08:13 PM PDTEvery voice counts! Every action counts!
Thank you, friends
by Azadeh Azad on Fri May 21, 2010 07:47 PM PDTDear Mardom Mazloom,
Ari is *not* talking about the reverse writing on the door - although that too could be a subject of laughter :-), but rather about the myth of vampires not having reflection in the mirror. He held up a mirror and discovered that all four characters of the cartoon are vampires! :-)
Another test could be the "Garlic Test." Hold up a bunch of garlic and see how the four of the blood-suckers will leave the blog and IC for where they belong! :-)
Azadeh
Fantastic job azadeh jan.
by vildemose on Fri May 21, 2010 07:37 PM PDTFantastic job azadeh jan. Powerful political cartoon.
Darvish, do you understand what plagiarism is?
by oktaby on Fri May 21, 2010 07:06 PM PDTAnd where/how it is applicable? Basic understanding counts more than originality. It is however, interesting that you are familiar with the idea (analogy or common view applied to a specific situation, not plagiarism) about the blood sucking nature of IRR?
The drawing makes me wonder if this condition (basijonoma also known as murderitis) is genetic (perhaps a recessive gene) that expresses itself when initiated with islam and other ideologies of exclusion and hate? Or even normal people may be afflicted as blessings of Shi't islam?
OKtaby
Splendid!
by Mardom Mazloom on Fri May 21, 2010 06:41 PM PDTThe islamic crab emblem goes perfectly with the sucking teeth! And "Dr. Nut job" as Ari pointed out too is also bright.
....
by yolanda on Fri May 21, 2010 05:35 PM PDTThank you, Azadeh, for your timely cartoon! You are very talented! I am just curious if the dude wants 18 years of back-pay plus interest from IRI.
I am also curious if IRI will let this guy leave Iran.
Fits right in

Mirror test
by Ari Siletz on Fri May 21, 2010 03:59 PM PDTNice, but AVR knows too much @ assassination, tied to IRI
by MM on Fri May 21, 2010 03:58 PM PDTNice Cartoon Azadeh, but the job is temporary.
AVR knows too much about the assassinations that get associated with IRI. So, he will be silenced one way or another. If not by IRI, S. Bakhtiar and Soroush Katibeh' friends/family are after him too.
There may be an accident in his furure, which will direct him from the heaven he mistakenly uttered to the hell he definitely deserves.
Brilliant
by Mehrban on Fri May 21, 2010 03:48 PM PDTI love his medal :-). Thank you.
