Reza Pahlavi's political actions
by Azadeh Azad on Thu Jun 21, 2012 01:01 PM PDT... are certainly praiseworthy. He undeniably does more than many of us. However, he cannot be a constitutional monarch (being a-political and having strictly ceremonial duties), a position for which I am sure he cares much less than many fanatic "constitutional" monarchists.

The mandate of freedom
by Banafsheh Zolfaghari on Thu Jun 21, 2012 11:19 AM PDTFreedom of speech mandates everyone to speak.
When in exile and a homeland that is occupied, one is mandated, morally, above all, to do everything possible to forward the natinoal interest and not to posture for future positioning.
So why would 'mum of homeland' suggest innaction? Makes no sense.
Good or bad, right or wrong, smart or not, efficient or otherwise, the man is doing. More than many others.
What to do...

Some think he's not involved enough, to be a King.
Some think he's too involved to be a King.
Maybe this IS what he's doing what he's supposed to do.
(But then again, maybe this IS NOT what he's supposed to do)
I am confused.
a funny fact
by amirkabear4u on Thu Jun 21, 2012 04:12 AM PDTIf you look at Shah's different pictures, some of them show his head was unusualy bigger for his body. Some what freaky.
It only proves by no means Pahlavies were a better race. LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
