I have to watch this clip later but I still have memories of watching khayatbashi, and I wanted to thank you for your posting. Performers like him are remembered not only for quality of their work (which were good too)but also because they are a symobol of a time when Iranian TV was not dominated by Islamic programming.

Wow, I had no idea Khaitaat-baashi was still active. Good for him. He is still quite witty. I wonder if he is still in touch with Googoosh.

That couldn't have been more than a couple of years before the Revolution. Whatever happened to Khaiaat-baashi (Mohandes Billy)?

And I'll bet Googoosh still has nightmares about that hairstyle.
