Lost track of how many times i switched my loyalty and could not decide between es es and perspolis, but finally made my mind up.

The first time i heard it was in 1985 and i was a junior in HS. What a team. what memories.

on this clip, at 3:06, is this Alan Vitel with ali parvin? am i spelling that correctly? Was he british, welsh, australian?

 i went to one of their matches against bank melli, with mahmood Khordbin... iran pak...

I also attented The final and deciding match that sent iran to the 1978 world cup vs the aussi's.

Thanks for the clip, but I was a Taj (Daraii) fan ever since I was 12 years old and attended many games at Amjadieh and then 100,000 nafari stadium.

I learned so much about our culture watching the Taj and Persepolis crowd insulting each other. My favorite chant was when Persepolis owner Ali Abdo slapped Safar Iranpak, because he wanted a better contract and left the team. The Taji crowd were ready with their chant. In the 70's the Taj supporters referred to Persepolis supporters as Longi (Long e Hamoom, because they were red). Here is the chant

لنگی ها پاشین برین عبدو اومد چک بزنه

وقتی از جا در بره حتما باید سگ بزنه
