we had invited all our good customers and friends for the re-opening of our renovated store. so last night everyone was there. but we all did miss robert and sylvia. in the corner i noticed ana rodriguez - if you remember, she is our local prostitute - hand in hand with a very handsome man, talking and drinking. so i went to them and shook their hand and winking at ana i turned to him and said: so you must be john ana has been telling us about in all those interesting stories, you devil!  ana laughed and said: no, those johns i have been telling you about were my customers. I have had thousands of johns but only one jesus.  this handsome man is jesus, the love of my life and darling husband. i stepped back and in horror said: oh jesus! expecting a big punch in the nose from ana's husband when i heard ana saying: that is right, but we pronounce it hessus, much sweeter sounding, isn't it? jesus laughed and told me that he was working for the city and he and ana had been married for ten years. he knew the profession ana was in before they got married and accepted it and was proud of her. he then said: she makes three times what i make and we have hired someone to  guard her when she goes to work. she is the sweetest woman and the stories she tells me about her johns just kill me laughing. i was very happy to see these two young things so much in love and i moved to the next group of friends standing nearby. i was the host and needed to circulate.
