pretty girls, stolen pearls, auburn curls
broken jar, chocolate bar, dirty old car
laptop computer, dented pewter, lazy commuter
jammed gears, old dears, big ears
ancient fable, am able, clark gable
yellow flower, black power, eiffel tower
huge mall, what a gall, concert hall
tiny man, dirty pan, princess ann
big liar, hungry mire, hell's fire
wet baby, definite maybe, royal navy
green peas, fleeting peace, crying niece

I really can't write, only read. I have to say that 50% of poems, I don't even understand them 'cause they are very abstract or I don't have the background knowledge to understand them. Thank you for your perfectly rhymed poem! Great job!......... A couple of weeks ago, I read a funny story written by you, which cracked me up! You talked about this aggressive and sweet-talking salesman (or stockbroker ?) who tried to talk you into investing, at the end you turned him down. It was hilarious!

I read your poem one more time, I still saw 2 verbs......maybe I need to review my ESL 101.

I thought "fleeting" is present participle.

Broken, jammed, stolen are past participle, but they are used as adjectives.

Thank you for the rhyming poem!!!  You really have to rack your brain to find the rhyming words. It is super hard!!!

Wow! Every phrase rhymes in each verse! Amazing! The whole poem has only 2 verbs: "Stand" & "am".
