HollyUSA Yeh Hassoudeh Oghdeyee ...
by Darius Kadivar on Sun Jan 31, 2010 05:54 AM PSTTo begin with YOU Sir Or LADY DON'T KNOW MY TRUE SELF. ;0)
Who Are YOU the "ANONYMOUS " HollyUSA hiding behind a psuedo (which is not even a NAME ) to tell me who I am and who I am Not or do go on your high Horses because someone DAHAN KAGEE Kard beh Shoma ?
Over the 10 years or so that I have been writing on this site I have come across all types of people and I am used to ANONYMOUS pseudo ANN TELECTUALS and part time bloggers and attention seekers who think that they have some kind Moral Superiority to give lessons to others.
People like you LADY or SIR come and go ...
People who unlike YOU LADY or SIR have been following my writings and email me privately or publically over the years perfectly know where I stand in terms of human values. People may disagree with me but they don't judge me based on one or two dissagreement which is natural and healthy when we are expressing ourselves in a democratic platform like the Iranian.com. I simply don't go around bragging about these kind emails written to me by some VERY Prestigious and honorable members of our Diaspora Community who happen to appreciate my contributions and opinions expressed and whose Identities would probably surprise you ( because they are not necessarily from the same political mindset as me) and would certainly put YOUR Over inflated CYBER EGO to shame.
But What remains in the end of the day is the thoughts and ideas ( Good or Bad) that emerge from discussions and contributions that people make in their lives in whatever capacity.
You are Free to make YOUR's and I am Free to make MINE !
Cause in the end of the Day all this CYBER EGO each of us display or not individually on this site is ALL SMOKE and irrelevent.
But I am used to your Likes and all this so called Revolutionary Mindset and Rhetoric which is anything but Revolutionary for it lacks inventivity and originality. You Live in an Obsolete World which is dying day by day because it thrives on Bitterness and hatred. So the Green Pretext and Your Green Roosary is simply a Life Saver to hang on to in order comfort you with your own POOR Choice and failed recipes !
If Iranians had a choice they would turn that Green Roosary into a Bikini.
YOU would find common ground with the Other ANN TELLECTUAL Hamid Dabashi or the LEveretts who wish to Highjack the Green Movement but offer NO SOLUTION to the Current Crisis:
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJw7bGr6qvA
YOU people Clapped for EVERY Third World Rhetoric Championed by Radicals like Ahmadinejad from the Very first day he took office. You People hardly expressed outrage when he championed a Holocaust Conference in Tehran nor criticized their TV Programs questioning the Holocaust a well established Reality which only jeapordized our nuclear programs and so called ambitions only to provoke the World's concern and create a useless threat of an attack on our nation by Israel today.
We Could have lived without this threat in the same way we could have lived without YOUR Demagogic Revolution back in 1979.
But simply because Ahmadinejad was anti Israel or Anti American Far Before the Elections clampdown it suited YOUR BLIND REVOLUTIONARY EGO's ...
And Now that the Iranians are Shouting Back "NAH GAZEH, NAH LOBNAN JANAM FEDAYEH IRAN" Suddenly YOU ANN TELLECTUALS have to run in to claim to speak in their name ?
YOUR MENTALITY is No different from the Mullahs YOU NOW Claim to Despise.
In Your bitter Heart Your Love of the Mullah's Revolution is equally proportional to your hatred of the Pahlavis which have had nothing to do with the one million deaths due to the IRan Iraq War or the Middle Aged Laws that have reduced our country to that THIRD WORLD and Backward nation YOUR GENERATION contributed to it's making.
YOU had 30 Years to spew YOUR HAtred of the PAhlavis and to claim some kind of Moral Superiority on grounds that YOU OR YOUR PARENTS Made that POOR CHOICE back in 1979.
Did I Insult YOUR PARENTS ? NO !
I insulted THEIR POOR CHOICE and WILL REITERATE MY ASSESSMENT HERE because YOU seem to LOOK FOR IT !
In addition don't think your hatred towards the Pahlavis or for their supporters for that matter is justified only due to the fact that you claim that people in your family were executed under the shah's reign. I find that unfortunate for you and your loved ones and Bow to their Memory in the same way I bow to that of all the Martyrs of the Revolution regardless of my hatred of their ideology but I think it is simply a suitable Argument to pass for a victim which YOU ARE NOT ! NOR ARE YOUR PARENTS !
I have had members and friends in my family who have also been executed under the current regime too as many other Iranian families who have been victimes of the Regime YOUR Likes Created and have been supportive of until quite Recently under the convenient cloak of the GREEN WAVE !
It's First and Foremost Iranians back home which are the First Victimes of what happened back in 1979 and FOR WHICH WE ARE ALL ACCOUNTABLE COLLECTIVELY BUT SHOULD NOT BE HELD GUILTY INDIVIDUALLY !
Do YOU See the Difference ?
You People LADY/SIr have alas crippled ANY TYPE OF ATTEMPT TOWARDS UNITY amongst Iranians over the past 30 years because of YOUR PERSONAL OGHDEH !
AN OGHDEH Which has resulted to the lack of any serious alternative to the Current Regime !
Fortunately others have tried to the risk of their lives to suggest a more constructive alternative. Be it someone like the politician Bakhtiar or Someone like the equally martyred Singer Artist Fereydouneh Farrokhzad who was a Monarchist (and not ashamed to express it to the degree that it cost his life ) said that "We Will overcome as a Nation not through blind Hatred and OGHDEH but Through Love. We shall return and Vanquish over the mullahs not with Bombs and Bullits but through the LOVE we have for our nation and it's culture ( "Ma Bah Eshgh Bar Meeghardeem") and to the dismay of the Mullahs who have tried to stop us as a nation to love, Breath and live.
You can go and HIDE YOUR TRUE SELF Behind whatever ANONYMOUS AVATAR or Ridiculous Name for that matter, and LIVE with YOUR OGHDEH And Hatred and inner Jealousy until You grow Old and Ugly and lose all your teath ... I couldn't care less.
Now if My answer does not satify YOU, I suggest YOU Go and Wipe YOUR Nose with YOUR GREEN HEJAB along with YOUR Friend the PHANTOM Death Wisher :
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DLsKcvvIu0
Lastly I am NOT GREEN, BLUE OR WHITE, I am IRANIAN First and foremost and I WAS, AM AND WILL BE FOR REGIME CHANGE !
VA Parchameh Man Shiro Khorsheed Bood va Hast va Khahad Bood !
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6HdNBjnJ6A
And I will defend it whenever I can and to my Last Breath if I have too even when I will grow Old and ugly and lose my Tooth and Hair.
Keh Shoma Khoshetoon Beyad Yah Nah !
Best,
DK

Listen Sir; As I understand, Unless and until announced, by JJ, otherwise, a blogger's right of so-called ownership does not exceed his physical access to the material on the screen; which means(let me add another Sir here) those cute buttons which enables you to flag someone, edit your own material, or delete your own material. The digital or' electronic space under any blog is only a virtual thing; the author does not own it like a piece of land. You are not the only monarchist having problem with realities. SIR! In Short NOTHING !
But You feel it is normal to come and express yourself here SYSTEMATICALLY AND PROVOCATIVELY even When UNINVITED ?
I have commented on HOLLYUSA's blog before and it is interesting to notice that she asked me not to comment on her blogs anymore which I respected her wish precisely because I believe that dissagreeing or not liking someone should not be an excuse to HARRASMENT !
HOLLYUSA seems to have forgotten her own pledge as quickly as her new year resolutions to ignore me as I have decided to ignore her which illustrates her own contradictions and lack of will ...
but lets get back to YOU.
Regardless of What YOUR Opinion may be which you have had ample time and space to express it here as well as elsewhere, it has nothing to do with me Tolerating it or not.
My Problem with YOU Sir is That I don't like YOUR Company ... PERIOD !
Is their a law that should force me to like YOU and Grounds of Tolerance ?
I don't think so. We Don't Like eachother and your behavior here proves that we cannot EVER find common ground however hard we try.
You May Blog or Comment or even contradict my views as much as you want elsewhere and I have no way to stop you in doing that ..
But as far as THIS Space is concerned THIS IS MY BLOG and MY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY !
I believe a minimum of civility is to respect another person's wish and Free Space !
If I am celebrating a Party or attending a Funeral or simply debating with likeminds, I expect a minimum of control on who I wish to invite to my flat (rented or not) and that is what triggers my response to you here as to who I wish to allow to comment on my blog.
Nothing should stop you from commenting or contradicting me elsewhere in any given blog or discussion where we would bump into one another.
BUT BEYOND THE TECHNICAL DEPENDANCY AND MONITORING WHICH IS ENTIRELY IN THE HANDS OF JJ & HIS STAFF...
THIS BLOG IS NEVERTHELESS MY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND THE PRODUCT OF MY HARD WORK AND CREATIVITY !
I WANT IT TO BE RESPECTED !
IN SHORT YOU ARE UNWELCOME HERE IN MY TERRITORY !
NOW IF YOU WISH TO CONTINUE ON THE PATH OF WAR !
THEN I SHALL ONCE AGAIN POLITELY REQUEST JJ's INTERFERENCE AS A MODERATOR IN THIS DISCUSSION AS LONG AS YOU PERSIST IN THIS BEHAVIOR !
A Bon Entendeur Salut !
Mais A La Fin de L'Envoi Je Touche !
Bon Soir,

by Azadeh Azad on Sat Jan 30, 2010 05:57 PM PSTThanks for these nostalgic videos.
I am so overwhelmed hearing "Imperial Iranian National Anthem!" We used to hear that everywhere: in the cinemas, before the projection of the films (and we had to stand up,) and on the radio and TV on a daily basis before & after the programs. For these reasons, life in Imperial Iran had this specific background music, which now brings out all my forgotten memories. In other words, the joke: "The problem with life is that there is no background music" did not apply to us before the Revolution :-)).

"mah feshaanad noor-o sag ou ou konad"
by The Phantom Of The Opera on Sat Jan 30, 2010 03:14 PM PSTYour "great man" had to flee the country, leaving his own loyal men behind as sacrifice lambs, then, wandered the globe in search of a refuge; had his wife subjected to sexual advances of a Panamanian ex-sergeant; had his retarded son deprived from the throne, shortly after uttering the noted poem to belittle the public outrage over his dictatorship. Do you remember? Has anyone, in the Pahlavist-Chalabist camp, learned a lesson of civility in the past 30 years? Hardly indeed.
The Pahlavis, all mullahs, and all public figures associated with the Green Movement must disclose the source and the amount of their wealth/income.
Thank you Darius
by Farah Rusta on Sat Jan 30, 2010 02:33 PM PSTThose who are baying here, in full public view, are the products the of some thirty years of uncivility. Have they learned any lesson? Hardly! As the great man said it once: mah feshaanad noor-o sag ou ou konad.

by Sargord Pirouz on Sat Jan 30, 2010 02:23 PM PSTGeneral Kalleh Pacheh! (Did I say that?!)
Did you hear about his recent public dressing down of Sartip Vahidi? Very unusual for a Defense Minister to be subordinate to a Military Chief. But that's the result of the Executive Branch of government not having authority over the military.
Also interesting (and revealing) was Sarlashkar Firouzabadi's recent endorsement of the nuclear deal for refueling the TRR (Tehran Research Reactor).
Sargord Khaan - how about 7th century mentality of IRI?
by MM on Sat Jan 30, 2010 01:53 PM PSTLet's assume you are correct about the 19th century cloths/uniforms. I will take 19th century uniforms rather than have Islamists with 7th century mentality, any day. Never mind the cloths IRI recommends, especially their thugs on the streets.
Sargord , you are correct, the uniforms look better now

Look at those gaudy, French
by Sargord Pirouz on Sat Jan 30, 2010 12:53 PM PSTLook at those gaudy, French copycat uniforms from the 19th century, worn by the inner cadre of the Royal Guard. They epitomize the excess and bad taste of the monarchy- don't they? How out of touch with reality!
By comparison, look at today's uniforms of the Sepāh e Pāsdārān e Enqelāb e Eslāmi. Few even wear service dress uniforms, and there are very few adornments. The highest rank is only that of a Sarlashkar. For just about everyone, the common BDU or DCU is the uniform worn, even at state and parade functions.
I agree with Phantom, those aren't "guerillas" in the photo with the captured soldier. Those are more appropriately termed "armed demonstrators." And they sure look poor and hungry!
Let's focus on our commonalities, and not on our differences
by MM on Sat Jan 30, 2010 12:07 PM PSTI do not know the history of your disagreements/insults, but I am new to IC and have had my differences of opinion with Darius. But, our discussions have been civil, and at the end of the day, Darius and I realized that we had more in common, vis-a-vis; our dislike of IRI and our hope for a democratic Iran.
From TFOTO's comments before, I do not think that he is for the current regime. We already have plenty of IRI agents in this site trying to divide and derail civil discussions. So, while keeping our personal beliefs, please focus on our commonalities, our dislike of IRI and our hope for a democratic Iran. It will take a coalition of many factions for the current IRI to back down and go away.

apologize, without admission of guilt of any shape and form, for any misunderstanding it might have caused.I hope this will result in DK's tolerance for my opposing views which will be kept pronounced as clearly as possible throughout this site.
