Things I say only to Ebi
by Banafsheh (not verified) on Sun Jun 15, 2008 10:26 AM PDTDear Aazadeh:
I'm sorry if I appear insensitive. In fact I'm not that insensitive. Ebi is a very nice man and his presence adds so much to Iranian.com. As a reader, I am aware of his value to the site. That is why I made some suggestions to get his help in improving the quality of contributions and the dialogues going around, for the important reason that I believe HE CAN. There are others on this site who really could use some advice, but it is so clear that they would never listen to recommendations. I think Ebi will.

by ebi amirhosseini on Sun Jun 15, 2008 09:39 AM PDTThanks a lot ofr your comment.I apologize for reposting this clip, wasn't aware of previous posting of it.
As for Farsi keyboard part of your comment, that is why I wrote a blog asking the question, wether we should write in Farsi or English.I personally think we should try to do more in Farsi, but at the same time you made a very good point of mentioning poeple who cannot follow the thread comments in Farsi.Still the question is not answered for me personally.
best wishes
p.s.I didnot find Farsi keyboard recently ! & the novelty of it won't wear off for me personally.
Viva Iran & Iranians.
A few words with Ebi
by Banafsheh (not verified) on Sun Jun 15, 2008 03:44 AM PDTDear Ebi:
Thank you for posting another blog, but:
a) This video was featured a couple of months ago.
b) Since I have you online here, I would like to bring your attention to another matter. I know you are really thrilled about being able to type in Farsi these days, but you should know that while many people can't read Farsi, almost all Iranian.com users can read English. The site has always maintained English as its first language. I think it is perfectly O.K. to leave Farsi comments on Farsi posts, but when you write your comments in Farsi on English posts, you deprive people who can't read Farsi from following all the comments on a thread. You have a perfect command of English language and I hope that once the novelty of your new-found discovery of a Farsi keyboard wears off, you will go back to writing in English so that everyone can understand what you are saying. I think we should leave writing in Farsi for those who can't communicate in English, but that's just my opinion.
c) As readers, we appreciate the work of those who blog, contribute to news, and leave comments on other people's postings. However, just as we notice the hard work and dedicated contributions, such as your comment on the Ferdowsi Square post, we also know that when a contibutor becomes too prolific, the quality of his/her contributions decrease. You are a very nice man with a lot of intelligence and wisdom. I would like to ask that you submit fewer things but with deeper thought and more quality, for the simple reason that you can. Sorry if this is not terribly complimentary of your effort, but I would like to bring your attention to the more serious readers of the site who don't simply delve in superficial items and can recognize quality and depth when they see it.
