In the Video, Fardin refers to "Ali". I think he was referring to Ali Tabesh, the TV showman of the 60s who was also banned by the IRI.

He will always be part of my childhood memories. God bless him.

My school buddies in kharrazmi always were baffled by my choice of actors and singers..Fardin,eastwood,Elvis,Javad Yasari, lol

Yes,it wasn't trendy.The beloved Fardin & my dad were friends,the last time I saw him,was around 84/85.This clip was shoking for me,since his face showed a lot of pain.Everbody now that he is gone,says good things about him & he is not Aabgushti anymore !.I never forget the days that I passed his Carpet store in Vanak;the new generation were always windowshopping there,not for carpets,but for the " myth " who had heard about from their parents.Most of the time he would come out of store,humbly talk to them & thank them for remembering him( since he didn't sell himself like some other so called actors & never was allowed to act again; that was what bothered him always).

Let me tell you a true story about his " Mardaanegi / Sekhaavat " &

being a real friend " Taa Aakhar Khat".

I can't remember,it was 82 83,his beloved wife had returned from a trip abroad,so he threw a party.To make a long story short,the "Komiteh",raided his house,arrested everybody including him.Early morning,my father got a call from him,so we go to this place I believe in Niavaran?? not sure,where Komiteh was.He could put bail & go home,but he waited there,called a lot of friends),to bring title deeds,to bail out everybody.My father told him "why don't you let them call somebody they know to bail them out!?",his answer was " They are my guests,& till the last one is not out,I am here!".Around noon,everybody was out,so we started to walk to the car,he put his jacket on ,told my dad"Ok,Now give me a cigarette,I have no worries anymore!".

I Love this dude since I was 7..Fardin to me is the real deal no BS actor...I Remember way back before ursela andres would hitch the class to watch Fardin flicks in Cinema Empire or Plaza..remember those days was not trendy to like fardin because He was Ab gooshti..thx again
