This is my contribution to the world through the ink, paper and a little bit of controversy!
One clergy, On the Supreme Counsel, Ahmad Khatami, in Iran clarifies the stance on enforcing and reinforcing the Islamic Hejab:
” It appears that the issues of “inadequate Hejab” can not be
addressed through cultural effort and I think the solution is to shed
some pure blood until this vermin is uprooted from our society.”
Vampires beware, now you have competition!

Nice cartoon. Kaven jaan maybe you should have heros & heroines
by Esfand Aashena on Mon Apr 25, 2011 05:08 AM PDTMaybe you can choose a hero or heroine and make your cartoons through them. Sort of like Dilbert, I love Dilbert! Although in your case I'd recommend a female character for Iran. What you have here is fine but she can be prettier ;-)
Everything is sacred
Tavana, I am glad you see what you descibed ;)
by KavehAhangarAdel on Sun Apr 24, 2011 07:14 PM PDTWith cartoons, it is always great to hear and see the viewers' interpretations! Intended or not, your interpretation bring a smile to my face. :) cheers.

Garlic or the Private Part!
by Tavana on Sun Apr 24, 2011 06:27 PM PDTWithout Azadeh's comment, one might have though that the Tokhm-Pareh! Dracula was returning for his missing private part, shown in the lady's hand, that he had been hung from for making such outrageous statement!!
"Pure blood" indeed refers to that...
by KavehAhangarAdel on Sun Apr 24, 2011 05:22 PM PDTand the vicious nature of the rhetoric to me signifies a very repressed and frustrated man. I KNOW that the garlic will work. In time. :)

Interesting cartoon
by Azadeh Azad on Sun Apr 24, 2011 04:32 PM PDTLet's see how well the garlic (women's resistence) works against this blood-sucker! And I wonder if "pure blood" is a reference to the possible virginity of the bad-Hijabs. Any idea, Kaveh jan?
Cheers,
Azadeh
