Apples are delicious.
So are Oranges.
Pears, too!
Rotten ones not so much.

Azadeh jan, are you drawing by hand then scanning in or....
by KavehAhangarAdel on Sun Mar 13, 2011 10:53 AM PDTdoing it all digitally? If manual, then make sure all pencil marks are gone. In either case I always use the contrast function(set it to +5->12) in the graphics software (gimp on mac) or paint.net on PC(not a big fan of PC!) then use the CURVES function to bring out the black, white and greys. Then I do color. The rest is a lot of clean up using erase functions. I hope this helps. thanks for the comment.

Another good work

I can keep my works clean only if they are in GIF format, which cannot be uploaded on IC. I notice that your images are in JPG format, while they are very clean. What do you do to keep them from becoming somewhat messy? Thanks.
Cheers,

But who cares in LA ?
Vildemose, I am glad you read the blog.. The society
by KavehAhangarAdel on Sat Mar 12, 2011 03:36 PM PSTor more accurately those who are in Charge of the society ask questions to find who is to BLAME for the ills in a society(bigotry, racism, oppression, thought control, etc.). So the question on my blog is from the point of view of the interrogator. A little tongue-in-cheek, I am afraid!
As an individual, though, I have the responsibility to either accept what is fed to me or I can be proactive, search and dig for causes rather than a person to BLAME.
The bigger question I personally ask is this: Am I taking responsibility to be vigilant? To question authority is a right far less exercised.
I hope that clarifies my point of view but as I always say: Art is open to personal interpretation. What inspired me for this cartoon may not resonate with everyone but if each person derives one's own conclusions then it has accomplished something.
cheers. :)

by vildemose on Sat Mar 12, 2011 02:29 PM PSTApples are delicious.
So are Oranges.
Pears, too!
Rotten ones not so much.
Is the fruit, the vermin or the environment to blame for the rot?
This is what your wrote in your blog.
I'm sorry, I don't understand the question.
vildemose, thank you... The Question I ask is:
by KavehAhangarAdel on Sat Mar 12, 2011 10:59 AM PSTwho takes responsibility rather than who is to blame. :) Blame allows for a victim to be created. Is it the environment that creates the lackadaisical attitude toward bigotry or personal responsibility, or a combination of the two? whata re your thoughts?

Blame the apples for worms!
by Esfand Aashena on Sat Mar 12, 2011 08:10 AM PSTThis is like blaming the victim and asking apples to be different so worms won't get attracted to them!
Very good cartoon!
Everything is sacred
thank you
