Random thoughts behind the wheelon the way to a turkey dinner
Finally Santa Claus is gone
Leaving shopkeepers sad until next year.
I hope children will become curious
And close up the chimneys next year
To see if Santa Claus comes
Through the front door to meet them.
We have no choice but to be Homo Sapiens
But we have a choice of not being slaves--
Specially slaves of our watches and calendars!
I suffered a nightmare about a root canal gone bad
While hearing bunch of dentists
Thunderlaugh like happy wolfs.
Do I have to know what is real in order to enjoy fiction?

Phantasm
by gol on Wed Dec 26, 2007 04:01 PM PSTFiction may be mostly imagination, but, I’m always glad when a poet uses his or her mind and powers of observation to describe a place so realistically that I’m there. There is also a Real place reality in fiction, a phantasmal world, where the boundaries between life and fiction have been erased. That goes beyond-“To see if Santa Claus comes Through the front door to meet them”
