As per my former post, here’s greater evidence about Ledeen’s lies. Here’s an excerpt from his new book, The Iranian Time Bomb: “the relationship between Iran and al Qaeda over the
years has been so close that it is difficult today not to conclude that
Iran was involved in the 9/11 attacks.”
Can the Iranian-American community advocate against this manipulative liar? Faster please.

Jamshid: you are so right, Iran did 9/11
by IRI-lacky (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 06:36 PM PDTand we are all paid agents! Michael Ledeen is a Iran-loving genius and George Bush loves freedom.
Let's overthrow the Mullahs and put you in charge? Would you like that Jamshid?

To all IRI lackeys in disguise....
by jamshid on Wed Oct 17, 2007 05:50 PM PDTTo those of you who are supporting the IRI (cleverly in disguise)... You are NOT doing enough! You are becoming softies...
Don't you understand that the IRI regime is bound to fall, and will do so very soon? Don't you understand that once they fall, the new popular or even not so popular regime will be much different? And that they won't just go after the mullahs, but they WILL come after YOU too? Great punishment awaits you traitors. What will you do?
Some of you may say that you are a US citizen, you will be protected here. Are you sure? There will be "dead or alive" bounties on your head. You will be fair game to the hunters, all legally.
So... I suggest you start reading your "ashhad"... Your days are numbered.

Belive me my friend , if they had anything to do with 9/11, G.W. would invite them here, host them to a BBQ. in Crawford ranch TX. and hold their hands just as he did with king of Saudi Arabia!
17 out 19 hi jackers were from Saudi ! and I'm sure you saw it it TV. how their king was treated here!

For having such a clear mission of an admirable lofty goal in life I sincerely congratulate you. Being of a lesser substance, I will stick with the hope of seeing my motherland emancipated. When and not if, she has, then I too shall have the luxury of thinking beyond her tormented borders. Till then I wish you the luck of Irish and God speed.
The New Iranian
by The New Iranian (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 03:33 PM PDTWhere I come from: Iran
Who I am: Iranian-American
What my ultimate goal is: A democratic, representative Iran. Once that respects the wishes of the majority (Muslims) while protecting its minority (this includes the Bahais, Christians, Jewish, Atheists, etc)
Most 'Muslims' that live under such a government will soon realize that they are in fact NOT Muslims. They had been forced to be Muslims. But with a free country, you decide and many will choose another path in life. Nevertheless, MANY will also choose to stay Muslims, weather it is due to comfort and habit or due to a true faith in the religion. Whatever the case, ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE IRANIANS. And all these people need representation in the government. Amen.
Which group of people has the trust of the Iranian people to create such a governement? The MKO? No. The Shahanshah's? No. The Mullahs? No. This group must have no blood on its hands, and it must repesect the diversity that is the Iranian people. Sadly, such a group does not yet exist.
FOR FRED
by IranianGuy (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 03:33 PM PDTAnd Fred, you hate the current Iranian regime so much that you are willing to put out dishonest propaganda for that miserable bunch of napalmers, carpet-bombers, warmongers, and Latin American death squad-instructors known as the U.S. government. Why is that? The "ultimate goal", as you state it, is a democratic and independent Iran where its people are free from oppression at home and independent of foreign pressure and interference. Iran's current regime is one obstacle to that, and Iranians have to hold that regime accountable for its crimes. However, in the long term, the U.S. is a far more formidable obstacle; it is the undisputed heavyweight champion and assistor of right-wing murderers and torturers on every single continent, including fundamentalist elements in the Sunni Muslim countries which are ten times as reactionary as the IRI. The U.S. (and its Israeli and Arab puppet dictatoship clients) is the main instigator and violence and instability in the Mideast, NOT Iran.

by Jesus (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 03:24 PM PDTHey topoly,
I have done told you to stay away from excessive fat and carb, I guess you now have added alcohol to your regimen. Ledeen is a liar. Many others are not, and have a chance to counter Ledeen's argument in an open society.
Iranian mullahs/terrorists are much worse liars. No one can counter argue with them, because they end getting killed.
Ledeen lives in the U.S, has not killed one Iranian directly.
Mullahs in Iran kill Iranians directly on a daily basis.
Mullah supporters talk about God, but eat so much, their fat face explodes through the computer screen, take the wealth of Iranian nation, and sends their kids to U.S and western Europe.
Ledeen has to work to earn money.
I wonder who is the bigger threat to the Iranian nation? I wonder who we need to pay attention to?
Edge of abyss
by Fred (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 03:01 PM PDTSome hate America so much that it colors their judgment making them forget where they come from and what the ultimate goal is. America has a checkered history, duh, who is to argue with the facts of history. The problem is when one uses those facts to justify the murder incorporated Islamist Republic in the name of defending mother Iran from the big bad wolf. And then there are those knucklehead commies jabbing USA under the tread bear slogan of solidarity of the masses see nothing wrong with getting into bed with one of the most reactionary regimes- for example, take a look at that fellow traveler Ommani’s revolting defense of IRI. If has-beens like Ledeen or dozen or so others like him see fit to prepare the scenario for a military action it is up to us to go after the source of the problem. By alleviating the problem, i.e. Islamist Republic, we will be in a position to defend our rights and country against all threats. As it is now lots of energy is being wasted on tangential issues all the while the Murder Inc. is literally driving, at high speed, the entire nation to the edge of the abyss.

by mama (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 02:30 PM PDTOur biggest problem is not Ledeen or the IRI. Our biggest problem is the Iranian people. you can see from this postings and others that we have too many Mirza Aghasi's walking around for us to be free.

"help us liberate Iran from
by Anonymous123 (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 02:02 PM PDT"help us liberate Iran from them. That's what Ledeen is doing, don't be a Mullah supporter!" Ledeen doesn't care for Iranians at all. by Math Dude (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 12:55 PM PDTIt is a simple one-to-one mapping between the two.
Jimmy Carter I---> Islamic Revolution in Iran, terrorism, hostage taking, inciting killing Americans, "death to America", supporting Taliban and OBL (i.e., Mullahs).

The short answer is NO. Unfortunately when you have the likes of Reza Pahlavi, whom some of the Iranian-American community admire, rubbing elbows with the likes of Ledeen and the rest of the AEI gang, there is no hope. In fact, I can see the Tehrangeles crowd cheering Ledeen on! Sad display really.

by Ted (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 11:54 AM PDTSince this article is about Ledeen's claim that Iran was involved in 9/11, perhaps you would like to comment on that topic and not rant about other "accusations." 240 murdered US marines
by Fred (not verified) on Wed Oct 17, 2007 11:39 AM PDTPerhaps through your extensive CASMII, NIAC and other Islamist contacts/employer you know better. What Ledeen says might be a lie, but the other terror attacks by your regime are not.
