A 70-year old pain!

When Moosh Afarin moans about Reza Shah and writes in such wounded style, one can understand the depth of her agony, some 70 years after that Great Man left the scene.   Now, tell me you dear bed-fellows (i.e. Moosh Afarin, her niece khaleh moosh moosh, and the equally deeply wounded Avazinia and Partoplagoo):who is more in pain? One who moans 70 years after being wounded or one who is laughing at you?

نیش آفرین برایم بسیار جالب و با مزه بود، البته اسم در ازار دادن کسی ایفای نقش نمیکند، کسانیکه زیر پوست و حتی افکارشان سوزن کاشته اند، کوچکترین تلنگر دردشان میاورد، حتی از طریق دنیای اینترنت!. و اینکه چرا نوش آفرین را انتخاب کرده ام؛ مادر بزرگ شاهه شاهان که قبل از رسیدن پسرش به سلطنت، اسمش سکینه بود و زهرا صدایش میکردنند، بعد از اینکه انگلیسها رضا قلدر را به مقام پادشاهی انتخاب کردنند، انها  اسمها و نام خانوادگی خود کلاً عوض کردنند و از سکینه- زهرا هم نگذشتند و اسم او را به نوش افرین تغییر  دادنند. بنابراین خواستم با این اسم طرفداران سینه چاکشان راخوشحال کنم.

Dear Hamfekr!

You talk as if we are dealing with a democratic system where citizens have the right to express themselves in peaceful fashion without fearing for their safety or life. In democratic systems the law guarantees the rights and the safety of its citizens.

In the Islamic Republic of Iran, however,  as soon as peaceful demonstrators hit the streets in addition to thousands of repressive security forces waiting for them armed to the teeth, you have the state owned thugs who by using knives, clubs and hand guns against innocent people kill and maim many without having to answer to anybody. On the contrary, they are well rewarded for their brutality by this regime.

We are not dealing with a military dictatorship who cares for international opinions and pressure. These bastards (akhunds) think they are the hands of their god on the face of earth and hence given the right to do to whatever they want to the people who oppose them. If staying in power requires the killing or imprisonment of thousands then so be it. In fact they have shown this in the past 30 years by killing and imprisoning tens of thousands. These Akhunds thrive on crises and in fact stay in power by creating one crisis after another. They will not be able to rule under normal and calm circumstances.

So what makes you think that continuous peaceful demonstrations (or civil actions as you call them) are going to weaken this regime? Is the regime going to give the organizers of these civil actions freer hands or arrest them, torture them and force them to make confessions on state TV? Is this regime going to guarantee the safety of the demonstrators or kill them, arrest them, torture and rape them?

One thing it does is that it makes the people hate and despise them even further and their differences irreconcilable. This regime has never had the backing of the majority to begin with. They have stayed in power as long as they have by being ruthless and brutal. This regime has not changed in over 20 years. I do not understand why some people are surprised by Ahmadinejad’s re-election. This regime has exercised ballot riggings all through its existence. It did not suddenly become undemocratic after the so called elections, it has never been democratic to start with. It has always killed, tortured and raped people. The people found the courage to protest because some of this regime’s own people (such as Mousavi and Karrubi) cried foul and they took advantage of this and poured into the streets. This is beginning of the end and will end exactly in the same way Shah’s regime was toppled.

I do not particularly like violence but I see no other way of getting rid of this regime.

Nobody is preventing anyone from taking up guns and starting an armed struggle and so forth; everybody, however, should be mindful of ramifications of such action before total exhaustion of all civil actions.

Can't you wait that long? Fine; go ahead, recruit your team and do whatever you can do best. But remember:

When you station yourself and your comrades in a remote village; you should refrain from taking the villagers hostage to your ideology; that kind of action used to be  called a Marxist-Leninist-maoist-this ist-that ist strategy; nowadays it's simply called Taleban or, al-qa'ida ism.  

Eventually this is what it comes down to!

Do not be surprised if in the end people find armed struggle to be the only means of getting rid of this barbaric and savage regime.

A regime that will stop at nothing to stay in power will not go away or reform because of peaceful demonstrations. You do not seem to know or understand the way an Akhund's mind works. They only understand the language of force.

I wish we could get up one morning and this regime will disappear after yet another peaceful demonstartion but that is wishful thinking, it's for those who do not understand how things work in the real world.

Mark my words, we will not have a velvet revolution in Iran.

رضا پهلوی همانطوریکه بارها گفته است حاضر است به عنوان یک شهروند ایرانی در مبارزه شرکت کنند و این مردم هستند که بایست نوع حکومت را انتخاب کنند.  حالا حذف وی با دو خط قرمز و وارنه نشان دادن وی از یک تمامیت خواهی حکایت میکند.  میزان رای مردم است همانطوریکه امام مرحوم و راحل گفت.  حال اگر مردم و بعضی گروه ها ماشین دیکتاتور سازی دارند این تقصیر یک شخص نیست.  مردم ما بایست آزادی داشته باشند تا آنچه را که میخواهند انتخاب کنند  مسلم است که در زیر تبلیغات کوبنده راه خود را گم خواهند کرد.  چنانچه گم کرده اند. 

پس اصل چشم در مقابل چشم کجا رفت؟

جالب است که در نوشته فوق مبارزه مسلحانه به چندین دلیل نفی شده الا به دلیل تضاد آن‌ با اصول عالیه انسانی. مگر نه این است که به گاندی نسبت میدهند که "چشم به ازای چشم جهانی‌ را کور می‌کند؟" پس چگونه است که مخالفان مبارزه مسلحانه توجهی‌ به شکست زنجیره نفرت ندارند و گوئی با اصل خشونت مشکلی‌ نداشته و فقط از اتلاف وقت نیروی جوان نگرانند!
