How interesting! Almost makes one want to know what was written on those blogs.

I had no idea that one could post a blog on google. Hmmmm You live and learn.

Well, I must say that it is good to know that I am not the only one that has had an allergic reaction on this web site.

Damn! I wish I had known about a letter of demand. I would of used it on Q when he dragged my name through the mud awhile back. Oh  well! He deleted the blog on his own eventually.

Here is to better days ahead.

sag koochooloo- Given your previous record of newsgroup citation, I'd seriously consider how productive your contributions will be in this case.

1. So you are suggesting that Mr. Azal is responsible for the postings made by the user "Covenant"? Mr. Azal is not this user, and such facts could easily be established given access to IP logs, should the matter require any further investigation.

2. Would you like to explain what constitutes 'defamation' in this post?

//iranian.com/main/blog/zulfiqar110/was-shoghi-effendi-homosexual

3. Should the Baha'i organization or its members believe that they have any reason to pursue legal action against Mr. Azal, it should be noted that Mr.Azal has in fact previously invited the instigation of such action on more than one occasion.

Request

by sophia on

I advised my client to write a short letter of request, both privately to the editor in chief of this site, and to post this letter publicly as a blog. It is our understanding that this material was temporarily removed for a few hours, and then within a few short hours subsequently, it reappeared. If there is no immediate undertaking by Mr. Mansouri in regard to the offer made by Mr. Azal, we will expect a seven day period of compliance to the request made. If there is a failure by Mr. Mansouri in regard to the offer made by Mr. Azal, we will allow for a seven day grace period in relation to the original request made by Mr. Azal to the editor in chief of Iranian.com. Should neither of these requests be honored, we will take this as an indication that this site does not intend to implement policies fairly and consistently, and as such my client reserves his rights to the fullest extent of the law. If there are any attorneys associated with Iranian.com who would like to discuss this matter further, they are welcome to contact me by replying with email to this address.

It should also be noted that whilst Mr. Azal has asked that a single blog on him be removed, Mr. Mansouri has in fact posted three separate blogs on Mr. Azal of a defamatory and libelous nature, which have included digitally altered representations of Mr. Azal:

Dedicated to the one whohas endeared himself to so many in so short a time..  Iranian.com is abound with love and joy; he truly is a breath of fresh air;with his every blog comes a new reason to live...

This blog was subsequently removed by Mr Mansouri (though copies of this material have been archived) with the following explanation:

I am happy that this attempt at humour (shaytooni :) has caused some to question Nur's approach and examine the issues more carefully, hopefully leading to a more civil and productive discussion.

In deference, I have removed the image.

If I may say, Bahais want nothing more than a fair representation of facts, without sensation, distortion or their incendiary portrayal as British/Russian/American/Israeli conspiracy. (After the recent Canadian Parliament resolution, we are waiting to be called agents of Canada)

For far too long, we have had to endure this kind of truly outrageous, baseless, and hypocritical accusation.

However, I humbly ask to see a marked change in Nur's approach, not to mention a willingness to sincerely answer the questions put to him; answers that are not mere links to anti Bahai vitriol, but answers that tells his story and the reason behind his self destructive angst.

I for one want nothing but friendly dialogue; I can not call myself a Bahai otherwise.
Humbly
Faryarm

Also I have been informed that up until a few short hours ago

by Nur-i-Azal on

The blog had actually been removed, but now has been reinstated. Within an hour after this present blog went up, the defamatory blog in question was taken down, and that attempts to link to it where met by the following error message:

 -

Not Found

The requested URL /blog/faryarm/early-heartfelt-message-about-nima-wahid-azal-nur-old-friend was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 301 Moved Permanently error was encountered while
trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

It appears that the post has been reinstated just in the past hour or so after it was first removed. I believe JJ has some explaining to do.

Excuse me

by Nur-i-Azal on

Do you people set policy here on Iranian.Com and dictate how this website can contravene its own stated policies, while applying a heavy hand of censorship on some people, such as a long time poster like Mr Kadivar recently, while ignoring it in other cases? It sure appears that way to me here, that members of the Haifan Bahai faith can get away with virtually anything here while other Iranians, such as a respected poster like Mr Kadivar, get blocked for far less. Are Baha'is on Iranian.Com above any law or policy? It appears that way at the moment.

Moreover I have asked you, Mr Mansouri as well as the related cohorts of your cult, not to post on my blogs or speak to me. As a pious Bahai you ought to be scruplously following to the letter Abbas Effendi's unequivocal injunction made to all Baha'is that you neither associate or speak to "Azalis."

Now as a legal matter, my post (and earlier private message to JJ) is a legal LETTER OF DEMAND.  It is a LETTER OF DEMAND to Mr Javid and the administration of this site to apply their own policies consistently. My blog about you is on a google domain and not a site owned or operated by JJ and business associates. As such my LETTER OF DEMAND is made to JJ and not to you. You are welcome to contact whoever you wish to have the blog removed. I am also quite happy to speak to any attorney or even enter any courtroom regarding this and other related matters. So on my end, unless you show good faith yourself and remove that blog personally, the blog on you (which I argue contains factual information whereas yours does not) will stay. Ball in your court, Mr Mansouri, permanently remove your defamatory blog about me, and I will remove the blog on you.

Perhaps you should do the same and remove...

by faryarm on

To Wahid Azal,

You have said many hurful things , which I believe are the results of your anger.

In your anger you have posted libelous and defamatory remarks, about many people, the least of which is a personal attack on me, and my character.

Perhaps you should do the same and remove the many defamatory blogs yo have posted on google

as well as here.
