Is there any law that this government is going to respect? How far this “dalghak” is going to molest Iran's identity and values? What is he going to do next?

Nobody's happy with IRI...
by Peter Pan on Thu Jan 28, 2010 05:51 PM PSTTurning red into orange was tried in Ukraine. I am not sure if Ukrainians are still happy with it.

by yolanda on Thu Jan 28, 2010 05:42 PM PSTThank you, Sargord,
I have a suggestion: leave the "green" alone, just change "red" into "orange".........red and orange are pretty close, too! They are closer than blue & green. I am positive!

by Sargord Pirouz on Thu Jan 28, 2010 05:33 PM PSTI can't speak for the artist, but just try imagining the possible color replacements. I assume the artist considered the green-to-blue to work the best, because the colors are so close, visually.

Sargord's areas of expertise
by Anonymous Observer on Thu Jan 28, 2010 05:18 PM PSTSo far I have noticed that our "sarbaz vazifeh" is an expert in all of the following areas:
1) medicine;
2) military issues;
3) Iran politics;
4) world politics;
5) polling and mathematical distribution of polls;
6) economy (macro and micro);
7) social sciences
8) media and color representations in media productions;
Sargord, you are either a walking encyclopedia of knowledge or there are many little "sargords" out there behind that avatar. :-)
Sargord, you are killing me :o)))))

by yolanda on Thu Jan 28, 2010 05:01 PM PSTHi! Major,
I am just curious how come IRI did not replace red or white color, only the green..... So replacing red or white is not artistic?
As explained on the IC article...
by Sargord Pirouz on Thu Jan 28, 2010 04:52 PM PSTThe blue represents the color of IRNA.
Replacing logo colors with national colors and vice-versa is nothing new. It's done nearly everywhere, all over the world, everyday.
But, of course, if you're blindly looking for anything and everything to further your pursuit of anti-Iran cheerleading- by all means- don't allow for anything artistic or even rational to stand in your way.
Everything is bad! Rah, Rah, Rah!
It means AH's brain is gone
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Thu Jan 28, 2010 08:02 AM PSTThat idiot AH is so far over the top that is really being ridiculous. These attempts are ham handed and as dumb as they ever got. The good side is that AH is so stupid that he is driving a majority of even his own supporters away. I was just talking to another friend who got back from Iran. These guys are losing support even among their base.
Keep up the good work AH jan. You and Khamanei are doing are work. No way we could make them look at ridiculous as they make themselves look. I am speechless. IRR is the worst dictatorship at propaganda that I know. The Soviets did a better job of PR than these guys.

by yolanda on Thu Jan 28, 2010 04:38 AM PSTWhat is the implication? Desecration of the flag? Alteration of the flag for political purpose? Is this an isolated incident or beginning of a trend?
Is this for real??
by HollyUSA on Wed Jan 27, 2010 11:07 PM PSTWhat the hell? How do they think they're gonna pull this off?

Speechless
by Jahanshah Javid on Wed Jan 27, 2010 08:21 PM PSTI can't believe what I'm seeing... it's beyond ridiculous. The national flag purged of its green stripe?! What's next? Painting tress blue?
He will take it as far as he can until Iranian people put
by Hovakhshatare on Wed Jan 27, 2010 08:01 PM PSThim and the rest of rapist regime in its place. That is regardless of whether this is missing green intentionally or an optical issue. It is about money and nothing else. Iran is a money pit for these criminals to become a bigger mafia; no more and no less. That's why there is no middle ground. They must go and Iran needs to be dry cleaned in extra heavy duty cycle so the stink will go away too.
